Hi every one,
This month’s walk is from Brinklow to Brandon, leaders Charles & Roseann Stanton. Charles tells me that he has found an interesting route of almost 6 miles for us, finishing at the Royal Oak, Brandon.
We will be travelling to Brinklow on the 9:45 Rugby 585 bus leaving from Stand Q at Pool Meadow. This bus can be boarded at any stop along the Walsgrave / Ansty Road if preferred. Travel is free using the Centro/ National bus pass. If you do not have a free pass, purchase a single ticket from the bus driver.
Arriving at 10:15 approx. in Brinklow we commence walking, there will be the usual stop for a drink or biscuit etc. along the way. We will arrive at the Royal Oak about 13:15-13:30. A lunch time table/ tables have been reserved at the pub for the group. Please see the attachment to view the 2 for 1 menu (pre-order is not required).
We return after lunch from the bus stop in the village a short walk from the pub. The Coventry bus 86 is at 14:49/15:19 arriving back in Trinity Street at 15:15/15:45 approx. Again if you do not have a free pass, purchase a single ticket from the driver.
If you intend to join us please reply by 18:00 Sunday evening so the numbers for reservation can be confirmed.
Hope to see you again this month.
Regards
